Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc. is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity Huronia (Habitat Huronia) through an in kind donation of upgraded security cameras and installation services for the Collingwood ReStore.  The contribution, valued at more than $3,600, reflects Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc.’s ongoing commitment to building safer, stronger communities.

For years, Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc. has supported organizations that create stability, dignity, and opportunity for local families. The Habitat ReStore is one of those places; it’s a community hub where donated goods find new life, volunteers gather, and every purchase helps build affordable homes for local families. Ensuring the safety of that space for the staff, volunteers and visitors is part of Huronia’s belief that security is a foundation for people to thrive.

Supporting Habitat Huronia is something we’re deeply proud of,” says Chris Johnson, Sales Consultant at Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc. “The Habitat ReStore brings people together; donors, volunteers and families all working toward a stronger community. Helping protect that space is a natural extension of what we do.”

This year’s donation includes new high definition cameras and professional installation, coordinated with the Habitat ReStore’s Manager, Thomas Modjesch, who has been leading improvements to store operations and customer experience.  “Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc.’s generosity helps us continue building safe, affordable homes for families across our region,” says Debbie Savic, Senior Philanthropy & Development Officer, Habitat for Humanity Huronia. “The Habitat ReStore is essential to our mission, and this upgrade ensures our staff, volunteers, and donors can work and shop in a safe, welcoming environment.”

As the Habitat ReStore continues to grow and serve more families, Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc.’s support ensures that safety remains at the heart of its operations. When community spaces are secure, people can focus on what matters most: giving back, building connections, and creating pathways to affordable homeownership. It’s a partnership rooted in shared values. And it’s a partnership that continues to make a meaningful impact across the three communities that Huronia Alarm & Fire Security serves.

Habitat for Humanity Huronia’s Collingwood ReStore is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for shopping and product donations. Please call ahead to make a donation (705-446-9740) or fill in the online donation form.  Every donation supports Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes.

Huronia Alarm & Fire Security Inc. has been in business for over 50 years and is Central Ontario’s leading provider of home and business security and monitoring services, CCTV, fire and safety, lock, key and safe products and services, home theatre, audio and video consultation and entertainment room design, as well as cabling and smart home wiring for today's home automation requirements.
